There is a vigil scheduled for Monday night, March 12 at 7 p.m. at the Blue Cross Arena in memory of fourteen-year old Trevyan Rowe.
Trevyan went missing for four days when he left the premises of School 12 at 999 South Avenue on Thursday, March 8. Upon arriving to the school, Trevyan departed the bus but did not enter the school building.
Between Thursday, March 8 and Sunday March 11, volunteers and local organizations joined family and friends to search for Trevyan.
The Rochester community was saddened to learn a body was recovered in the Genesee River on Sunday afternoon matching Trevyan’s description.
Authorities say no foul play is suspected. However, there are many unanswered questions as to what exactly happened and what didn’t happen the moment Trevyan went missing.
1055 The Beat joins the Rochester community, asking community members to attend the vigil in memory of Trevyan.
