LeSean McCoy says allegations made on social media that he abused his ex-girlfriend are “totally baseless and offensive claims.”
In an Instagram post, a friend of McCoy’s ex, De Cordon, posted a graphic photo of Cordon bruised and covered with blood. The friend, Instagram user @miamor_i_adore, claims the abuse came at the hands of McCoy.
The Instagram post goes on to claim that McCoy had also abused his son, his dog and used steroids.
But, in a statement posted to Twitter, McCoy said the allegations were bogus and claimed he hasn’t been in contact with Cordon in months.
The tweet reads, “For the record, the totally baseless and offensive claims made against me today on social media are completely false. Further more, I have not had any direct contact with any of the people involved in months.”
ESPN reports that the Bills are looking into the allegations.
In court documents, News 8 has learned that McCoy was in the process of trying to evict Cordon from a home he owns in Alpharetta, Georgia.
According to the court papers, Cordon has lived at the home since October 2016 while the couple was dating. On June 1, Cordon claims that McCoy had her belongings removed from the home while she was out of town.
Less than two weeks later, a notice for the eviction was also served. Cordon is currently fighting that notice. — ROCHESTER FIRST
