ROC The Taste is a brand new free festival which blends the best of what Rochester has to offer – great food, fabulous live music and fun. Local restaurants and vendors will offer a wide variety of food, merchandise and everything in between. The event will take over Parcel 5 and surrounding streets for a fantastic weekend of summer entertainment on July 27 and 28 from 11 am to 11 pm rain or shine.

The Summit Federal Credit Union ROC the Taste is presented by TOPS Friendly Markets.

Food vendors will offer a $1 sample item, plus many regular priced items so that festival goers can truly taste the best of what the Rochester food community has to offer. There will also be two stages with live music throughout the festival. Admission to the event is free for festival attendees.

ROC the Taste will feature a “Warrior Weekend” theme. The Summit and other sponsors and vendors will be working with the festival to raise money for Wilmot Cancer Center and Honor Flight Rochester. Festival goers are encouraged to wear their “colors” to show support for cancer awareness and their support for our veterans.

ROC the Taste is designed and organized by Galaxy Events, the same company behind the Rochester Wine and Chocolate Festival and the Taste of Syracuse. The Galaxy Events team is committed to hosting lively, large scale and finely-tuned events. With the support from our sponsors, the Summit Federal Credit Union and TOPS Friendly Markets, the Taste of Syracuse welcomed close to 225, 000 attendees in 2017 and we hope to see ROC the Taste grow in the same direction. Our commitment is in providing quality events to promote our local communities.  — ROC THE TASTE
