Multiple schools are on lockout due to three different scenes police believe to be all connected.
Police tell News10NBC that a person was fatally shot and another was injured on Post Avenue near Arnett Blvd. Wednesday morning. Police then received a call for another person shot on Francis Street who ended up at School No. 25 on North Goodman Street.
Rochester City School District’s Director of Communications Carlos Garcia tells News10NBC that Schools No. 16, 25, and 33 are on lockout due to the police investigations. A lockout means no one can enter or leave the building; classes are still in session.
