You’ve heard of Oktoberfest, but what about “Coptoberfest?”

That was the name of the event held Saturday night at the Dutch Mill Restaurant on Dewey Avenue. The first annual “Coptoberfest” was hosted by the Thin Blue Line Rochester Chapter.

A number of law enforcement groups and first responders showed up to show their support. The event raises money for Camp Good Days and Special Times.

There was a German and American buffet, 50/50 raffle and, oif course, German beer.

Thin Blue Line is a national organization based out of Texas. It’s goal is to show police in a positive light by supporting local charities and the local community.

Thin Blue Line Rochester says they plan to have more events like this one in the future.   — ROCHESTER FIRST
